- Commissioning support and O&M mobilisation for new-build gas plants

Gas turbine operations

Our CCGT scope spans gas turbine operations covering Brayton cycle performance monitoring, combustion and exhaust parameter reviews and quick start-up and shutdown guidance under varying load conditions.
Maintenance programmes include air filter replacement, compressor washing, fuel nozzle inspection and cooling system verification. We conduct hot gas path examinations on liners, transition pieces and vanes, complemented by non-destructive testing and metallurgical analysis for creep and thermal fatigue assessment.
Steam cycle and HRSG management
On the steam side, we manage HRSG and steam turbine operations including sliding pressure operation to reduce throttling losses and improve part-load efficiency, along with condensing turbine optimisation.
Our teams handle control valve and governor functional checks, lubrication system inspections, bearing and seal monitoring and daily through annual inspection plans aligned to operating hours.

Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance
Vibration analysis with continuous trend monitoring, oil analysis, thermography and performance trending of output and heat rate form the backbone of our condition-monitoring regime. When components degrade, our repair teams restore design performance through rotor and shaft repairs, blade and vane replacement, seal and bearing refurbishment and complete overhauls with post-overhaul performance testing.

- Vibration analysis with continuous trend monitoring for early fault detection
- Oil analysis to identify bearing and lube oil wear and contamination
- Thermography and ultrasonic inspection of critical components
- Performance trending of output, heat rate, pressures and temperatures
Common O&M Scope for CCPP, CCGT and CCGE Plants
01 Start-up & synchronization:
Verify fuel, lube oil, cooling water, instrument air and controls; execute OEM start-up sequence; monitor speed, exhaust temperature, vibration and fuel pressure.
02 Operation:
Monitor output, exhaust/steam parameters and auxiliaries; manage load within ramp rates and thermal limits; optimize heat rate and fuel consumption.
03 Heat recovery / steam cycle:
Monitor drum level, feedwater, steam pressure/temperature and water chemistry; control warming/cooling to avoid thermal stress.
04 Shutdown & trips:
Controlled load reduction and sequence shutdown; investigate root cause before restart.
05 Maintenance:
Planned inspections, condition monitoring (vibration, thermography, oil analysis), corrective repairs, electrical/control calibration and OEM-based overhauls.
Unique O&M by Plant Type

Combined Cycle Power Plant
- Integrated O&M across gas turbines, HRSG and steam turbines
- HRSG thermal-stress control during warming and cooling
- Steam turbine start-up support: gland sealing, turning gear and differential expansion monitoring
- Inspections of HRSG pressure parts, steam turbine blades/seals and combustion components

Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Plant
- Gas turbine as the primary unit, with efficiency-focused coordination of gas turbine, HRSG and steam turbine
- Compressor washing, hot-gas-path examinations and borescope inspections
- HRSG tube, valve and safety-valve checks
- Generator, transformer, switchgear and protection relay testing

Combined Cycle Gas Engine Plant
- Gas engine-generator sets with heat recovery
- Engine start-up and gradual loading within manufacturer limits
- Monitoring of cylinder-to-cylinder exhaust variation, lube oil, coolant and vibration
- Engine maintenance: cylinders, pistons, valves, spark plugs, injectors and turbochargers
- Heat exchanger/HRSG cleaning and generator insulation/protection checks
Performance and accountability
Availability is the commercial heart of any O&M contract. We work with plant owners to define availability guarantees appropriate to the asset class. Our approach to major maintenance events is planned and managed in advance, with scheduled inspection of lubrication systems, bearings, couplings and seals aligned to operating hours.
How we structure performance accountability
We structure liquidated-damages provisions that make availability commitments bankable. Performance is tracked against agreed benchmarks for heat rate, start reliability, degradation and fuel accounting. Our reporting gives clients clear visibility into plant performance against contracted KPIs.
Safety and manpower
Industrial environments inherently involve occupational risks and safety oversight at AVR Energies is led by our leadership team, with stringent measures implemented across every project site.
Our manpower model is built on identifying capable, driven professionals and aligning them to the right roles. Teams are deployed with qualified and skilled resources across mechanical, electrical and control & instrumentation disciplines, supported by technical documentation and structured training programmes.
For CCGT clients requiring specific experience on their exact gas turbine and steam turbine equipment, we bring field teams with commissioning and O&M backgrounds across modern combined cycle gas turbine power plants.
Why choose AVR Energies
We are accountable for the sustained performance, reliability and life extension of your generating assets. This is a partnership model, not a manpower supply arrangement — our commercial success is tied to your plant's operational success.

Field-proven leadership
Our team has operated and maintained more than 2100 MW cumulative across global installations, with over 25 years of power plant O&M experience behind our engineering and field leadership.

Flexible engagement models
Whether you require a full-service O&M agreement with performance accountability, a maintenance-only arrangement or a hybrid model that blends an LTSA for critical rotating equipment with time-and-materials coverage for balance-of-plant work, we align the commercial structure to your operational priorities.

Safety-first culture
Safety oversight is personally led by our founder, with stringent measures implemented across every project site. We treat the safety of employees, contractors and the public as non-negotiable.
